The Scholarship Administration conferred its first doctoral degree from the College of Education. Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Makhlafi received his Ph.D. (with honors) in the specialty of Education Administration and Supervision. He earned his degree after acceptance of his thesis titled 'A Future Vision to Develop Creative Management Skills for Academic Leaders in Universities in Yemen in Light of the Systematic Culture'.
The General Supervisor of the Scholarship Administration, Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani, attended the student's thesis defense. Dr. Sultan bin Saeed Al-Makhlafi and Dr. Ali bin Nasser Shati served on the examining panel, while Dr. Ali bin Fahad Al-Sharif was an external examiner.
His Royal Highness, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Asir Region, honored Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Makhlafi for academic excellence in the university graduation ceremony last week. The Scholarship Administration and the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh, represented by Cultural Attaché Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Awlaki also recognized him for his achievements at King Khalid University.
General Scholarship Administration Supervisor, Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Shahrani, commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for recruiting and sponsoring scholarship students. He noted that these generous scholarships allow international graduates to help develop their home countries, while spreading goodwill and encouraging peaceful cooperation among nations. Dr. Al-Shahrani thanked King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, and Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Du'ajim, for their continued support and patronage of the international scholarship program.
